Ophthalmological examination
An ophthalmological examination includes determining the prescription, measuring intraocular pressure, examining the fundus (back of the eye), and performing a biomicroscopic examinations of the anterior segment of the eye (including conjunctiva, eye mobility, cornea, iris, anterior chamber, strabismus).
The ophthalmologist provides a recommendation if a specialist consultation is needed.
Supplementary diagnostic procedures
Additional diagnostic methods focus on the precise diagnosis of specific eye conditions, using advanced diagnostic techniques and equipment.
As part of the examination, depending on the indications, we perform the following types of tests:
- Perimetry – computerized visual field testing
- Biometry – measurement of eye length (A and B scan)
- Refractometry – objective measurement of eye refraction
- Fundus examination – detailed analysis of the retina and optic nerve
- Color vision testing – Ishihara test
- Schirmer test – assessment of dry eye
- Gonioscopy – examination of the eye’s drainage angle
- Cover test – functional assessment of vision
- Pachymetry – measurement of corneal thickness
- Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) – imaging of the macula and optic disc

As part of our surgical program, we focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases and conditions.
Our expertise includes: cataracts and retinal diseases, chalazion and pterygium removal, and reconstructive eyelid surgery.
